Made By Hand – The Woodcraft of John Galant:
Our new exhibit showcases the handmade woodwork of local Gustine resident, John Galant. A self- taught craftsman, John’s pieces range from models to furniture and kitchen gadgets, as well as outdoor garden creations. Distinguished and favorite pieces include three WWII Battleships (the Missouri, Iowa and New Jersey), his red combine harvester, and the 1957 Mercury – all of which have received Best of Show and 1st place awards at Merced County Fairs.
